A Message From Our Leadership
Dear Members of the Montgomery Jewish Community:
I hope this finds you as well and healthy as possible.
I wanted to share some news that I have accepted the position of Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Central Alabama, effective October 4th.
I am grateful to the independent executive search committee--composed of two members of AIEA and two members of TBO--who spent weeks on the process of searching for a new director and interviewing candidates.
My Jewish identity is at the core of who I am, and I feel a deep sense of duty to step into this role and work with you all to sustain our Jewish community here and throughout the world.
During Kol Nidre services at AIEA I shared some reflections on the importance of us continuing to actively choose Jewish life. Attached are those remarks should you find them insightful.
Thank you for your continued support of JFCA and for so warmly welcoming me into the community here -- I am excited to keep working even more closely with you!
